Foodbank
The Support Hub provides support to full-time students who are facing food insecurity.
Food security should allow everyone to have access to sufficient, nutritious, safe and culturally appropriate food at all times. Through a partnership with Feed the Need in Durham, The Support Hub provides Full-time students with fresh produce, meat, dairy products, non-perishable and perishable food items, and hygiene products. Registration is required to access our food bank services and this can be done online or in person. Once registered students can access this service once a month. Alumni’s can also access up to 6 months after graduating. Please note that food is served on a first come, first serve, availability basis.
Food Security Toolkit
The Food Security Toolkit, designed to help reduce food insecurity and improve food literacy among DC students, has been created. It lists on-campus, community, and digital information and resources to better help our students gain access to affordable and healthy food and become more knowledgeable and literate in the areas of nutrition, cooking, budgeting and shopping.
