Very easy! If this is your first time getting access to your health plan just follow these steps:
1. Head over to Student VIP and click on Log In
2. if it’s your first time, You will need to register to access your account
3. once you are registered, you can start using your benefits right away but make sure to also download your benefit cards!
Your Benefits Card can save you time and money at many pharmacies, dentists, and practitioners.You can download a printable copy of your benefits card here or to your phone wallet! Be sure to always have it on you to access your great benefits.
Attention International Students: This card is needed when visiting a doctor or hospital so you avoid any upfront expenses!

Students must be enrolled with Single Coverage under the plan in order to add eligible dependents for Family Coverage.

Check the breakdown of your annual general fees; if they include the health and dental fees, you are automatically enrolled in the benefits. In order to confirm that your coverage is in-force and to confirm the period of coverage you can contact Student VIP at: 1-888-918-5056.

The easiest and fastest way to make a claim is via the Medavie Blue Cross™ Portal or the Medavie Blue Cross™ Mobile App. For instructions on how to make a claim, click here.

0091963000All claims must be submitted to Medavie Blue Cross™ no later than 12 months from the date the expense was incurred. In the event of termination of coverage, claims incurred prior to the termination date must be submitted to Medavie Blue Cross™ within 90 days of the termination date.
