Maya is a dedicated and passionate student leader committed to making a difference at Durham College. Having completed Police Foundations and Advanced Law, she will be returning for another program, further strengthening her knowledge and skills in social and community services.

Beyond the classroom, Maya is a varsity rugby player and team captain, leading with determination, teamwork, and integrity. Her commitment to academics is equally impressive—earning academic honours every semester through her hard work and dedication.

Maya is also deeply engaged in community service, volunteering her time with various organizations and serving as a student cadet. Her leadership has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Joe Moylan Award of Excellence and a Varsity Leadership Award.

With her strong leadership, academic excellence, and passion for community service, Maya is ready to be a voice for students in the Faculty of Social & Community Services.
