Cam Wood
Camryn is a passionate and driven student leader dedicated to making a difference in the Skilled Trades community at Durham College. After completing her first program in Pre-Service Firefighting, she will be returning in the fall to continue her studies and advocacy for students in trades.
A dual varsity athlete, Camryn dominates both on the rugby field and the basketball court, earning rookie awards in her first seasons with both teams. Her commitment extends beyond athletics—she also achieved the Top GPA Award for varsity athletes, proving that she is just as much of a force in the classroom.
As a woman in trades, Camryn is passionate about creating a more equitable and supportive environment for female students pursuing skilled trades. She understands the challenges and is eager to advocate for greater opportunities, resources, and inclusivity in the field.
Known as a social butterfly, Camryn can make a friend out of anyone. Her cheerful demeanor and approachable personality make her a perfect fit for the DCSA Board of Directors. She’s ready to bring energy, inclusivity, and advocacy to the role, ensuring that every student in Skilled Trades feels heard and supported.
