How to Vote

    • Voting Period: October 21-23, 2026

    • Access: Eligible voters will receive a unique voting link via their Durham College email.

 

Eligibility to Vote

    • Must be a full-time post-secondary student at Durham College within one of the faculties represented.

    • Must be registered in a program at the time of voting.

Key Voting Rules

    • Each voter can only cast one vote.

    • Candidates are not permitted within 30 feet of an elector during voting.

    • Voting must be conducted individually and without external influence.

  • Any attempt to manipulate or interfere with voting will result in disciplinary action.

Votes are tabulated electronically via Simply Voting. The candidate with the most votes wins. In case of a tie, a recount is conducted, and if still tied, the winner is determined by drawing lots
