The Durham College Engineering Club (DCEC) is a student-run organization supporting and uniting future Engineering Technicians, Technologists, and engineering-minded students at Durham College. The DCEC works closely with partners to offer its members opportunities that range in nature from academic to professional to social. Most events take place on the Oshawa campus.
Club Activities Include;
- Social Mixers (skate nights at Campus Ice Centre)
- Professional Development Events (guest talks, professional development information sessions, Alumni speaker series)
- Holiday Celebrations (Secret Santa, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, fall/winter reading week activities)
- Collaborating with Ontario Tech Engineering Society
- Discord Server
- Monthly meetings with all club members
